Developer


Kel Thompson, also a former managing director and captain of Cayman Airways, built his first house in 1987. Since then, he has been involved as a developer, investor or builder in a significant number of projects. His goal is always to provide quality developments at a competitive price. He has served as president of the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association for a year and as a director for about ten years. Captain Thompson, also the developer of the Wyndham Reef and founder of the Century 21 Cayman, was the winner of the Cayman Islands Tourism Association's lifetime achievement award at the organization's annual Stingray Awards gala 2015. As a career, he says that Cayman Airways will always be his first love. He still maintains his license and flies privately. He lives in Newlands, Grand Cayman.
